There are lots of activities that you could do on the Island of Boracay. If you want to know more about the different activities and Boracay packages that are available in Boracay,  you can look for their travel packages and costing at www.goboracay.com.

Who would not love the great picture of crystal clear water and species that are otherwise unfamiliar? Everyone likes to swim along with elusive groups of fish. Boracay is an island that has lots of dive spots and, for this reason alone, Boracay became famous to divers around the world.
Each and every diving shop in Boracay has made translations on their information and direction so that visitors won’t have difficulty roaming around the dive spot . The languages that the’re using are French, German, and Korean. Translating information and direction greatly help the divers who do diving as a profession as well as, and most specially, people who are diving for the first time.

There are two types of diving that you could do in Boracay.

  • Scuba Diving – is a form of underwater diving wherein a diver will carry an oxygen tank and wear a diving suit. Diving suit is necessary to be able to withstand the pressure under the water  while the oxygen tank will help the diver to breath underwater. The diver can go everywhere but with supervision of qualified PADI diver. The diver needs to equip the essential gears apart from the oxygen tank and diving suit. Two of those are barometric watch and a survival knife. Watch will tell how deep you are while the survival knife will be useful in emergency situations.
  • Helmet Diving – is an activity where a diver will have to use helmet with a hose attached to it instead of the usual snorkel and tank. This activity will just make the diver see the fishes, corals, and sponges in a shallow area, as compared to scuba diving. This activity does not require a suit unlike scuba diving.

In addition to this, Boracay also has lots of diving schools for those people who would want to be a diver someday.
